Photo searching system allows you to find out the photo you are interested in very quickly using the search by description. In order to begin the search on the home page enter the word (it would be better to type the first part of the word) you are interested in and click “?” or the “Enter” key on your keyboard. In the upper part of the column with photos the word “Search” will appear and you will receive the list of photos the description of which contain the word that you mentioned.
If you are not satisfied with the results you may correct/change your request and repeat it.
For example:
You need a photo of a market. You have to type the word “mar” and click “?”. Pay attention that only part of the word you are interested in was used in the search as the signs of the photos may contain different variants: “market”, “markets”, “market’s” etc.
Recommendations:
Do not use words with more than three letters in the search. Otherwise you will receive almost the whole database.
For searching a concrete word you need to press space after it. For example, if you are searching for the word “hope” you will also receive photos the description of which contains such words as “posting”. And if you type “post ” (with a space at the end) the above-mentioned words will not be considered.
Do not use universal wildcard characters like “*” or “?”. The search engine uses these symbols itself and it will not understand/accept your request.
